Guest Lecture: Intersection of Computer Science and Medical Research


At First Code, we are building a global community of coders and makers. We are excited to bring to you the summer Guest Lecture series! 

The first episode we are proud to feature Munam Wasi, a neuroscience-computational researcher in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine. 

Munam works on building automatic diagnostic systems and 3D digital twins of ocular biological structures from planar MRI imaging. ️  He’s also involved in STEM mentorship programs, such as the student lead non-profit FAST, and was a volunteer CS instructor for Stanford’s Code in Place.
