"The First Year: From Birth to Walking": the unique and exciting opportunity to gain some real practical support and an in-depth understanding of your baby's development and needs - whether you are an expectant/first-time mum or have been a mother for some time, there is something for everyone:

A holistic understanding of child development
Key stages of development from birth to 12 months and ways to support your child
Attachment, bonding and forming a relationship of trust to last a lifetime
Laying the foundations for future learning

The workshop is designed to be taken over 2 sessions:

Wednesday 25th April 10am-11.30am: an engaging and interactive discussion of the philosphy, concepts and ideas behind the first year. (Parents only)
Wednesday 2nd May 10am-11.30am: This will be held in a specially designed Parent & Baby classroom setting, giving a chance to observe the discussed concepts in practice with your babies.

The workshops will be led by Julie Lam and Amy Punton. Julie and Amy have a vast range of over 45 years ' combined experience in Early Childhood Education. Both are trained in the philosophy of Dr Emmi Pikler and are qualified in Infant Massage (International Association of Infant Massage). Amy and Julie both lecture on the Steiner Waldorf Early Childhood Studies Course, specialising in the "Birth to Three" field.
