EXCEL (Extension and Continuing Education for Life), founded in May 2001, is a self-financing activity centre of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts - the only tertiary institution in the region providing professional education and training in performing arts, related technical arts, film and television. EXCEL is dedicated to promote artistic excellence through high quality life-long learning arts education programmes. Programmes on offer include Dance, Music, Drama, Drama-based Executive Training, Technical Arts, Film and Television, Liberal Arts, and Cross-media.
