Join Musical Theatre, one of the most popular art forms in theatre today! Musical Theatre performer needs to develop three performing skills: namely singing, acting and dancing.

It is an energetic and happy art form.The aim of this course is to develop confidence in each participant and a better understanding of the musical theatre genre. The Intensive course is designed for children to learn about and enjoy musical theatre during long school holiday.

In the dance classes, students will play theatre games in order to build up teamwork and trust. They will learn the importance of warm-up, stretching and cool down and some basic musical theatre vocabulary.

Students will be encouraged to do some research into the show and music that is being used, in order to develop the right character or emotion for the piece.

In musical theatre singing classes, the instructor will introduce different elementary performing techniques through musical songs. Students willlearn breathing techniques, shaping of musical phases and how to make use of their bodies on the stage. Apart from group studying, students will receive individual coaching as well.

The last lesson of the course will be a presentation performance, where participants can perform and learn from each other. Families and friends are welcome to join this session and share their achievements.
