A Splendid Chinese and Western Classical Showcase
The Hong Kong Youth Music Camp is one of the annual signature events organised by the Music Office. During the camp, about 400 budding musicians will receive extensive training from celebrated music maestros from various parts of the globe.
Conductors of the Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Junior Chinese Orchestra, Chinese Orchestra, Junior Strings and Youth Choir include Joe Yamaji (Taiwan), Satoshi Yagisawa (Japan), Wen Fengchao (Mainland), Quek Ling-kiong (Singapore), Kuo Wei-ting (USA) and Stephen Cleobury (UK).
Under the batons of these six celebrated music maestros, the camp’s young and talented participants will perform two concerts, enabling audiences to hear and enjoy their achievements.
Duration: Approximately 2 hours with an intermission of 15 minutes
Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted
