INSIDE THE WORLD OF HAYAO MIYAZAKI

INSIDE THE WORLD OF HAYAO MIYAZAKI

From anime soundtrack to live music
Experience the wonders of the virtual universe

Want a great way to kick off the summer vacation?

The professional ensemble Cantabile is going to lead the audience to a virtual universe on Friday 14 July 2017 at 8:00 PM, Hong Kong Cultural Centre – Concert Hall. The concert Inside the World of Hayao Miyazaki will bring a lot of music from Mr. Miyazaki’s anime to live and call back many familiar scenes that audience might have watched before!

This concert pays tribute to Mr. Miyazaki and will involve orchestra and choir for the music. Apart from that, another purpose of this concert is to encourage audience to step into a concert hall and listen to a live orchestra and choir. They mostly have heard the music through the movies or soundtracks, but very few would have heard it live. Cantabile would like to use the anime genre to act as a bridge to connect people and live music together, and invite audience to feel live music. Let’s get on this adventure with us and discover the symphonic side of what anime is about!

  • Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted
