The Joy of Country Cooking

The Joy of Country Cooking

The pun choi, or basin feast, is often served out in the open in country villages during religious rituals, festivals and other special occasions

With an assortment of food props and model cooking utensils at hand, little chefs will "cook up" a sumptuous pun choi feast and get a glimpse into both age-old food culture and the co-operative clansman spirit.

  • A maximum of 10 children per session on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • To register, please sign up at the entrance to the Children's Discovery Gallery 30 minutes before the programme commences.
  • In Cantonese
  • Admission fee to the museum may be required
