The 2018 Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon welcomes cyclists from around the world to immerse in the iconic landmarks of Hong Kong!
The 2018 Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon will kick off on 14 October morning, with thousands of amateur and professional riders from all over the world joining the popular 50 km Ride. Those looking to challenge themselves can speed across iconic landmarks in Hong Kong, while young riders and families can take part in leisurely rides in the city centre.
This year, some of the world’s top professional cycling teams will vie for glory in the first Hammer Series Race in Hong Kong. The start/finish line is on Salisbury Road at the scenic Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, so be sure to pop by and cheer on a galaxy of cycling stars on their first race in Hong Kong!
Time:
- 5:10–8am 50 km Ride/50 km Team Ride/SHKP Greater Bay Area Youth Trophy
- 8:10–10am 30 km Ride/BEA Centenary University Trophy
- 9:15–10:30am Family Fun Ride
- 10:40–11:30am Kids & Youth Rides
- 11:45 to noon CEO Charity and Celebrity Ride
- 12:05–12:15pm Women’s Open Race
- 12:45–1:15pm Men’s Open Race
- 2–4:45pm Hammer Hong Kong (a UCI Asia Tour Class 1.1 Road Race)
- Start: Both sides of Salisbury Road near Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade
- Finish: Both sides of Salisbury Road near ‘1881 Heritage’
