The Hong Kong Wetland Park presents our winter signature event “Bird Watching Festival 2019/20”.

 

Come to greet the charming birdies, and learn more about their special “tricks” in parenting, as well as the subtle balance of nature!

"Incredible Bird Parents" Thematic Exhibition

The "Incredible Bird Parent" thematic exhibition introduces how versatile and sophisticated birds are in parenting their offspring.

Bird Watching Guided Tour

Our guides will lead visitors to explore various bird habitats in the Park to look for birds and appreciate their stunning beauty.

Thematic Interpretation Sessions on Birds

Do you know how parent birds nurture their offspring until they are fully fledged? Join our thematic interpretation to find out the answer!

Wetland Classroom: Birds

If you want to enrich your knowledge on bird watching, don’t miss out our "Wetland Classroom: Birds" which comprises "Waterbird Survey" and "Bird Study" sessions. Participants may join different session(s) according to their own interest.

Family Workshop – Bird Watching

Under the guidance of ecology instructors, parents and children can learn the basic knowledge of birds, walk into the Wetland Reserve to look for birds, and experience the joy of bird watching in the Park.

Winter Bird Photography Workshop

Participants can learn bird photography skills from veteran nature photographers, walk into the Wetland Reserve and practise bird photography. Come and share with us the joy of bird photography!

Nesting Dolls (Birds and Their Chicks) Painting Workshop

Create and paint your favourite bird family nesting dolls!

Public Lecture

Stay tuned with us if you are interested in the fun facts of Hong Kong local bird species and bird photography. The sharing of experts in the two public lectures is too good to be missed!

Kids Reading Club

Kids can learn more about wetland plants and animals through reading story books on wetlands. They can also make interesting handicrafts and experience the joy of reading.

Wetland Nature Square

The "Wetland Nature Square" card set contains 27 experiences and questions. Visitors to the Park can flip the cards and follow the contents to strengthen their connection with nature.

Badge and Origami Workshop

To display their creativity and observation, kids are welcome to make a unique badge or origami and bring it home!

Photo Collection Activity

Visitors may redeem a souvenir by submitting bird photos taken at the Park. Outstanding entries will be displayed to share with all visitors.
