Dirk is having a hard time falling asleep. He is even ready to try using a grand piano as a bed. And to call on Fien and her soothing compositions to help him reach the land of nod. But what is happening now?! The world is spinning and both performers and piano are floating on high. In this super-inventive, topsy-turvy realm, everything is possible from a downpour of sheet music to a wacky merry-go-round for counting sheep and an astonishing aerial duet.
Circus artist Dirk Van Boxelaere and musician Fien Van Herwegen formed their playful and creative partnership in 2005, with the pair becoming firm favourites at festivals and theatres around the world. Here, without a word of dialogue, the duo deliver a humorous and heart-warming tale through magical melodies, dexterous tumbling and juggling and gasp-inspiring technical feats. Prepare to be intrigued and amazed!
