In a land far far away, Wood Fairy Ding Ding is given the huge responsibility of looking after the four seasons – winter, spring, summer, autumn – in a city.
After training, Ding Ding takes up her job. But she finds managing Nature in an urban setting really difficult and has now fallen ill. Can we help the City Fairy in her work? If so, how?
This delightful puppet show and installation, utilises wooden toy building blocks, ink stamps and illustrations to offer an imaginative introduction to the workings of Nature for the very young. Creative and thought-provoking, it raises awareness of why environmental protection is necessary and enables kindergarten pupils to express their hopes and dreams for better ways of city living in the future.
