Go after your dream and make it come true!
If you come upon a magic lamp, what wish would you make to it? The HKCO brings to you a story by Taiwan’s famous picture book writer and illustrator, Jimmy Liao, to encourage all you out there to find ways to pursue your dream. Published in 2012, I Wish I Could Make a Wish is about a young boy who dreams that he is Aladdin and finds a magic lamp by the sea. In adorable little boy style, he weighs his wishes one after another to see which he should make come true.
With music created by local composer, Ng Cheuk-yin, this theatre concert brings together the 2-D world of pictorial books and the boundless world of Chinese music.
Come join and let’s make a wish come true!
