“You create something that we’ve never seen before”
— Howard Stern, Judge, America’s Got Talent
Dazzling artistry and limitless imagination that rockets you to the moon
Geeky mouse Marvin longs to be popular but instead is constantly picked on at school. In his own sci-fi world of superheroes, though, the resourceful rodent is always the star. In search of a way to make himself “cool” with the in-crowd, Marvin builds a rocket and heads for the moon to find out if it is really made of cheese and bring some back. Once there, he meets a host of lovable oddballs, faces up to his fears, and discovers the joys of self-acceptance and true friendship.
In Lightwire Theater’s eagerly awaited return to Hong Kong following sell-out shows of The Ugly Duckling & The Tortoise and The Hare at IAC 2012, five performers clad in black and wired with electroluminescent technology colourfully illuminate their uplifting story in a stunning fusion of puppetry, dance and traditional theatre. A top turn in an array of TV talent contests, the group mesmerises audiences young and old. Here, watch in wonder as more than 40 glow-in-the-dark characters emerge on stage. Not to be missed!
