Based on the novel of the same name by Michael Ende
Bastian discovers a book called The NeverEnding Story and is enveloped in this unfolding tale. The story depicts the empress from Fantasia is sick, so she dispatches a young warrior named Atreju to search for the cure. It turns out Fantasia is consumed with a plague called The Nothing, generated by blighted dreams and hopeless fantasies. Delving into the story of the brave Ateryu, Bastian finds himself catapulted into the land of Fantasia and embarks on a bizarre adventure to save the land!
