World Animation & Shorts 3

World Animation & Shorts 3

Starting from last year, IAC brings you excellent short films and animations, which are suitable not only to children but also to youth!

The whole family could enjoy the films together during summer!

  • Big Bag (UK)

An object lesson of when life weighs you down.

  • Awaker (Czech Republic)

At the beginning of the 19th century, in a cold nordic country, an old man works as an awaker, man waking up people. He is having his stereotypical life until the day he gets an old shiny bell.

  • Bullet Time (The Netherlands)

A desolate street in a small village in the Old West. Two cowboys face each other in a good old-fashioned shootout! But when both of the colts fire their deadly bullets, those bullets immediately fall in love with each other.

  • Momo and Her Cat (Japan)

Momo and Mew the cat are old friends and irreplacable family members. But Mew ages much faster than Momo. This heartwarming short animation depicts a girl whose encounter with a cat thrusts her into adulthood.

  • The Pocket Man (France, Switzerland, Georgia)

A little man lives in an old suitcase. One day he finds a new friend - an old blind man. The little man jumps into the blind man's pocket. With music, the pocket man helps the blind man walk and see things in the street. Both are very happy together.

  • The Unicorn (France)

Based on the book La Licorne by Martine Bourre. One day, a little king saw an extraordinary creature in the forest. The creature is white as snow and fast as the wind. The little king orders the Tiny Step Knight to bring him the creature, but he fails. The little queen however manages to bring the unicorn to the castle. One day, the unicorn falls sick.

  • Noah's Miniature Garden  (Japan)

One day the girl living on a collapsing island meets the robot which fell from the sky.

  • Keiro (France)

Growing up is fine, but it's better with a 50-foot friend at your side.

  • Johnny Express (South Korea)

Johnny, a space delivery courier, is travelling through space to deliver a package. His ship arrives on a very small planet. Johnny walks around the planet but could not find the recipient. He doesn't realise that this advanced alien civilisation is extremely tiny and nearly invisible.
