Humans express themselves in a variety of ways, such as words, sounds, movements, and images.
Tattoo artists use words and images to express their thoughts and feelings on the skin. Let's read these three books together ( “Art And Max” & "When Sophie's Feelings Are Really, Really, Really Hurt") to see how each story's character chooses different media to express themselves and appreciate different forms of expression.
What to expect
- About “36 Characters”: An amazing adventure story of a fisherman and animals. The author selected 36 special characters to form a special painting
- Think: Many tattoos are in Chinese characters. Many Chinese characters are hieroglyphs so the structure of character carries meaning.
