In this module, kids can explore the beauty of machines and science fantasy by creating motion in 2D images, machinery collage and an assemblage robot.

  • Discussion: How to create movement on a 2D surface
  • Materials: Sponge, stencil template for printing, tempera paint, marker, cartridge paper
  • Outcome: Printing images of movement on paper

Virginia has over 15 years teaching experience in Western painting, Chinese painting and Contemporary Art theory to students of various age groups. She holds Master of Fine Art at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University.
