Small Indian Civets are occasionally seen on the hillside. They hunt birds, rats, and snakes, and also eat the occasional fruit.
They have distinctive long black-and-white ringed tails and the body is grey or tawny in colour with rows of black spots. Small Indian Civets are solitary animals and are only active at night.
