Kashunutz Art Studio (KAS), is an institution founded with an aim to provide a platform for aspiring artists, mostly from the Indian community in Hong Kong to exploit their artistic talents through learning and mastering drawing and painting techniques. Since our establishment in 2014, we have created excellent art works measuring up to professional standards. We have also participated in numerous art exhibitions in Hong Kong and internationally.
The upcoming art exhibition, "Dance.Trace-Origination", to be held on 25 – 26 January 2024 at the Hong Kong City Hall (Exhibition Hall).
Aimed at raising the profile of the Indian community in Hong Kong whilst showcasing the talents of our younger generation, the event will feature mainly Krishna paintings among other artworks by our students. On both days, ISKCON Hong Kong will perform Krishna Abhishekam as well as chanting during the guided tours. There will also be some dance performances. There will also be an award ceremony for our students on 26th January from 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
The rundown of the programme for 26th January is:
- 3:00-4:00pm: Workshop
- 5:00-5:30pm : small group tour led by our curatorial team
- 5:30-5:35pm : Live dance performance
- 5:35-5:50pm : Kirtan led by ISKCON Hong Kong
- 5:50-6:00pm : Award Ceremony to present certificates to our students
