Cast off on a whimsical ride to NEVERLAND - a fantastical place where pirate and mermaid worlds collide. It's showtime yet again as Performing Arts students relive the story of Peter Pan on stage in a dazzling musical adventure filled with hi-flying song and dance routines, elaborate costumes, and spectacular scenery!

Production 

To take part in this production, please complete the form and settle the Production Fee. The  final deadline for application is 7 September 2022.

Class Rehearsals   

Students will prepare for this production within their regular classes in the Sep/Oct and Nov/Dec terms. We ask that you remain committed to your course and avoid transferring during the rehearsal process. This is not a compulsory event, and your child will still have the opportunity to explore the theme fully within class time. 

Production Week   

Production Week will take place from 21 to 27  November 2022. You will be given your child’s exact performance/on-stage rehearsal date and time by  October.  Siblings may, by request, be cast into the same show.  For students who are performing in Neverland, classes during the week are delivered in the format of on-stage rehearsals. There is no class on campus for performers during the Production Week of 21 – 27 November 2022. NO MAKE-UP CLASS is required. 

Tickets   

Tickets are not included in the Production Fee. Tickets will be available to purchase 6 weeks before the first performance. We will inform you via email when tickets are on sale. Please save our email address events@kggeducation.edu.hk as a contact to ensure all announcements messages are delivered to your inbox and not treated as spam. Due to venue regulations, one ticket is required per person including infants (0+). Students who are performing  are not required to purchase a ticket.  For those who wish to join the VIP Experience, we will book your tickets for you. 

   

  • Hair, make-up, and costume  
  • Costumes will be distributed in class before Production Week.   
  • Please wear white/light colour undergarments.  
  • Performers are required to wear black canvas shoes/jazz shoes that are available for purchase at $80/pair and $288/pair respectively at Kids’ Gallery. We suggest children start wearing the black canvas shoes in class to practise. 
  • Girls: Wear hair in a low bun; if hair is too short, style hair away from face 
  • Boys: Leave hair natural

If your child wishes to wear make-up for the performance, please prepare this yourself before your performance. We are unable to provide or apply any make-up due to health and safety reasons. 

 

Health and safety   

We will continue to uphold the highest levels of hygiene and safety. All persons entering the theatre will be required to undergo temperature checks and hand sanitisation. Students and audience members showing signs of illness will not be allowed to enter.  We will comply with Theatre Mask mandates for performers and audience members.

Remarks   

  • Students should not bring bags or accessories to the theatre   
  • The performance is approximately 1 hour 30 mins in length  
  • No photography or video-taking is allowed during the performance. A professional video of the entire performance will be included in the Production Fee
  • No parent or caregiver is allowed in the backstage area 
  • Please note that once confirmed, your child becomes an important part of the Neverland cast and we cannot give refunds of Production Fees under any circumstances.
