Summer Workshop 2017

Summer Workshop 2017

This Summer, they have prepared workshops for children from Age 3 to 10, and they are excited to invite your child to join them on this special occasion.

Each Workshop is packed with tons of fun and challenges for your children to enjoy throughout the holiday.

LEGO Education Workshop is a fun and educational way for children to learn about their surroundings while getting their hands-on with LEGO bricks. It’s a “playful” learning experience for students to build and try out what they have learned using LEGO bricks. To nurture their creativity and to encourage them to build and present their ideas.

LEGO® World Age 3-4

Children use DUPLO® and LEGO® sets to build replicates of their world as they see and understand it. They use their models to talk about their ideas, their feelings and their needs. And they develop new ideas and a deeper understanding by trying things out, together with others.

  • My Neighbourhood - Bored of the city view, tall buildings and people rushing everywhere? Let's have a getaway to a village, farm, or at least to a park. They could build their own living place and have a new sense of neighbourhood.
  • Home Builder - Do you have what it takes to be an architect? Come and learn what is going on in a construction site. Design your very own structure and surprise the world.
  • Over the Air, Land and Sea - Have you ever wanted to travel around the world? On a plane? Boat? Or a train? How about combining all of them and save some time.

LEGO® Adventure Age 5-6

Children are given opportunities to find out how things work. Activities allow them to build increasingly complex constructions and to experiment with simple mechanisms, and design and build their own simple machines. Activities are also based on popular play themes such as outer space and vehicles.

  • Young Inventor - Have you ever imagined to create an amazing invention that could entertain other people? It could be a simple toy spinner, magic trick container, or even a Zoetrope. You, young inventor, you could make the world smile.
  • Amazing Lever - A Lever is a very common simple machine that has been used in our daily life. Ever wondered how they can use it in party? To make a robot? Or in a clock? Let's find it out.
  • I am an astronaut - Are you ready to venture into the unknown space? What do we need? A rocket? Enough supplies? Get ready, buckle up and launch!

LEGO® Inventor Age 7-8

Build and design increasingly advanced mechanisms using LEGO® Technic and LEGO System sets. Children will learn about mechanical components and use motors to power their great inventions.

  • World of Wheels and Axles - Have you ever wondered what makes a car move from one place to another? Let's make own go-cart. Find out which model works the best for a vehicle so it could turn properly. And of course you could decorate it as awesome as you could ever imagine!
  • Goal Kicker - Kick and Score!!!! Learn to make your own mechanic kicker and show your move. Can you improve the kick? Make it faster and stronger?
  • Drumming Monkey - Hooorrrray! It's time to join in with the monkey and mix some music! Control the speed of your monkey's drum with your own program. Are you ready? Let's build!

LEGO® Robotics Age 9-10

Student learn to create simple computer programs that controls the behavior of robots using LEGO® MINDSTORMS software and Technic sets. Throughout playful topics, children's are given opportunities to turn their creative ideas into a programmable model.

  • Pinball Machine - Ping, Pong, Ping, Scored! Build your own Pinball Machine and invent your own traps. Set new rules and beat the score. They are ready, are you?
  • Home Security System - Beep Beep beep! Intruder alert, Intruder alert! Design and Program your robot to detect object coming into your area. Door locked! Area secured!
