PerforMINTS is an intensive 10-week choir course for students aged 6 and above, which culminates in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shine on stage with the legendary HK Philharmonic Orchestra!
Participants receive in-depth training that covers breath work, diction, memorisation techniques and, crucial to any budding performer, nerve-calming techniques. The course emphasises key theory in order to quickly master a song; students are also taught vocal health techniques and receive harmony training applicable to choral singing.
In addition to the choir course, M.int Academy also separately welcomes instrumentalists who want the opportunity to experience an unforgettable performance alongside the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
Details
- Length of Choir Course: 60-minute class once a week; 10 weeks total.
- Dates of Class: Saturday 2:00-3:15pm (November 18/25, December 2/9/16, January 6/13/20/27, February 3).
- Final Performance on February 10, 2018 with the Hong Kong Philharmonic at Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
