This session will focus on How to help your child prepare for UK school entrance.

The format of the session will be a round-the-table discussion and information will be tailored to specific interests of attendees. If you are thinking of educating your child in the UK, either at prep school or secondary school age, you will find this session relevant.

What to expect

The session will begin with an explanation of the academic preparation required, including the scope of subjects and the timescales involved. Tutors will then cover broader aspects of making a successful transition to the UK school environment (beyond exam prep!) and offer practical advice on how you can help your child prepare for their new school. The session will provide an insight into the reality of being an overseas parent to an international student attending a UK school.

After the session, the Maggie and Rose bar will be open until 2pm, offering a selection of food and drinks for purchase. British Tutors and Maggie and Rose are pleased to offer this session free of charge.
