Coral Conservation Project with Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Coral Conservation Project with Artificial Intelligence (AI)

If you have watched a film about Clownfish, you may notice that a lot of fishes and other marine life rely on coral reefs. Moreover, coral reefs serve as a “breakwater” to protect our coastline from erosion by waves. Yet, scientists have shown that at least 30% of coral reefs are already dead.If we do not start preserving, 90% of coral reefs will be dead by 2050.

To preserve the coral reefs, we can make use of AI (Artificial Intelligence), it will help us to locate, identify and observe coral reefs effectively. Yet, preservation can only be fully achieved through cooperation, we hope to educate the public and the next generation of the concept of preservation, as well as the necessary skills, so we invite you to join our workshop “Coral Conservation Project with Artificial Intelligence (AI)”, we are looking forward to seeing you!
