Mighty Oaks International Nursery & Kindergarten

At Mighty Oaks, the school curriculum is specially designed with a unique theme each month to match one of the nine “fruit of the spirit,” corresponding to the nine attributes of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

The curriculum is based on two of the world’s best paradigms for early years education—the United Kingdom’s Early Years Foundation Stages Curriculum (EYFS) and the Canadian Full-Day Early Learning–Kindergarten Program Curriculum—adapted to suit the learning expectations in Hong Kong. Through this curriculum that focuses on character building, the goal of this school is for children to grow from acorns to become oaks of righteousness.

The school offers a trilingual setting, with lessons taught in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese; therefore, students will be well-prepared to enter international and local primary schools.

What is unique about Mighty Oaks’ curriculum?

  • A purposefully designed curriculum created by experts in both local and international environments; incorporating international best practices for the early years and comprehensive in its scope of early learning goals outlined
  • Character-building elements are incorporated into daily learning, which integrates the development of academic excellence with moral fortitude
  • PATHS® programme develops our students’ social and emotional learning (SEL)
