Nothing short of a gamer's paradise, this course is a cornucopia of projects that challenges you to transform the humble cardboards into playable arcade game machines.
We provide guidance and tools you need (hot glue guns, motors, alligator clips, solar panels, marbles, screws, pulleys and more) to construct your unique arcade machines.
Explore the game mechanics: build insight into why games work, look at gameplay loops, and discover how you want to improve the player experience. You’ll create (example projects): self sorting coin machine, labyrinth balance board and more. Engineering at its best!

This is a regular after-school program (i.e. Extra-Curricular Activities, ECA) that runs during term 1 (2023 September to 2024 January) on Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:30 pm (1 hour per day, 15 hours in total).
