By providing free instrumental training to children from underprivileged families, Music Children Foundation hopes to cultivate musical sense and establish self-confidence for these children
Classes are normally held once a week, and are conducted by our professional musician team.
In most cases, instrumental classes last for a total of 4 years. The organisation assesses students annually to review their learning progress and decide if they are suitable to continue their music classes. When students graduate from the 4-year course, the organisation will try its best to offer scholarship for outstanding students in order for them to carry on their musical journey.
Currently, we offer instrumental classes for westerns instruments including strings (violin, viola, cello), woodwind (flute, saxophone, clarinet), brass (trumpet, trombone, french horn, bariton, tuba) and percussion. Students will be assigned their instruments by our tutors and consultants upon completion of Demonstration and Trial classes.
Apart from regular music classes, the organisation also offers various performance opportunities for its students, with the aim to improve their self-confidence, sense of responsibility, and the ability to collaborate with others.
