Continuation of simplicity in French style“Le French Design, so Starck, so Bouroullec…” Exhibition

Nan Fung Place also supports the“Le French Design, so Starck, so Bouroullec…” exhibition co-organized by Le French Design by VIA. The exhibition epitomizes the elegance of French design and illustrates the cultural heritage and creativity of France, as well as the modern continuation of simple French design motifs.

The exhibition is exclusively sponsored by Nan Fung Group and exhibits 40 French boutiques of famous brands and designers at The Annex at Nan Fung Place. Each of the French design expressions contained within are hosted in a tent to symbolize the meeting between history and time, and appointments within reflect deeply on the French design language. Each tent is a living space, and each value recreates French art de vivre in its materials, lines and finish. Visitors are free to move around this place to explore the displays curating 10 different ambiances. Designed to create a dialogue with the visitor, the exhibition is an invitation to immerse oneself in the world of Le French design and savor the unique atmosphere of the exhibition.

Nan Fung Place supports local creation crossover with local artists who are set to launch featured products

To support local creation and implementation of the "Design Within Reach" ethos, Nan Fung Place invited local illustrators Pearl Law and Onion Peterman to collaborate to design distinctive illustrations for Kind Kitchen by Green Common and Yum Cha. Onion Peterman balanced function and appearance, and reimagined the traditional bamboo steamer whilst Yum Cha itself offers families an experience of summer togetherness.

Pearl Law also designed illustrations for Kind Kitchen by Green Common to celebrate the food revolution happening in Hong Kong currently. Pearl Law’s simple style of paintings depicting the future of plant-based food encourages people to re-think modes of production and consumption of food, as our environment demands as such.
