OWN Academy is an innovative education company that focuses on providing exposure and experiences to help students pursue a life of passion.

Natalie Chan will talk about how OWN Academy provides real world learning outside of the classroom to prepare students for the future through: Mentorship, Internship, Events, Programs, Partnerships.

Gerry Chu and Gaurang Goel will talk about the importance of developing these skills and interests to plan ahead for the university application process and how the admissions landscape has changed significantly over the last 10 years. They will share how students can give themselves the best opportunity to distinguish themselves by planning ahead earlier, developing their student profile and strengthening important skills.

For parents interested in boarding schools, there will be a separate sharing session about the topic. The discussion will include important things to consider when choosing a boarding school, the application process, how it is changing, and why summer activities are so important.
