Veggie Mami’s pop up at Taste Kitchen

In PMQ Taste Kitchen, we celebrate different culinary trends and cuisines.

Yet one of the most popular trends among all that we have not featured would be the vegetarian concept. That’s why we are delighted to introduce Veggie Mami to all of you this late August!

This late August, we are excited to have Veggie Mami – Annie to join us in PMQ Taste Kitchen, the city’s first-ever F&B incubator, with her fantastic, homey yet delicate veggie menu.

Annie starts cooking vegetarian meals for her two daughters since they’re young which inspires her in developing more different and attractive dishes for their appetites. As a dedicated Buddhist with a great passion for promoting vegetarian food culture, she quitted her job a few years ago and opened her first restaurant in Kowloon called ‘Veggie Mami.’ The peaceful and little 15-seat restaurant serves customers with love and warming meals with traditional Chinese and Asian cuisine like soups, rice paper rolls. Their menu was all vegan, organic as well as free from mock meat. While the shop is already closed at the moment, Annie never stops to promote a better vegetarian cuisine and better quality of local ingredients to the public by joining our program.

With expert guidance from restaurant consultants Caleb and Joshua Ng of Twins Kitchen — backed by sponsorship and full incubator support from PMQ Taste Kitchen and PMQ, Annie will take up a new challenge from 28 August to 16 September: To create an exciting vegetarian menu — on top of running a full-service kitchen.
