Grounded on Zen teaching and belief, Artistic Director Chan Wing-chuen believes that art cultivates a person’s holistic development with harmonious virtues towards an integrated, balanced character.
Pop Theatre aims to produce dramas infused with an eastern aesthetic allure that address key social issues including familial relationships, adolescent self and identity, drug abuse and sustainability. Theatre also also organise drama workshops to encourage teenagers to reflect on maintaining harmony with oneself, others and the world at large
Zen . Theatre
Zen, uses no words and no explanation. Same as their performance, audience may not notice the message in the performance, but once they meet the similar situation in their lives, they will realize that they have seen it in performance.
Art Peak is founded in 2012, also by Mr. Chan Wing Chuen. Along with POP Theatre, Art Peak aims at sharing the world of Zen and faith in human through theatre performances and drama in education.
