We are now offering trial classes before the term starts. On the trial day, we will run a typical music session plus explanation of the curriculum in the last 15 minutes.
Written by Dr John Feierabend, an international leader in early childhood music education and past president of the Organization of American Kodaly Educators, First Steps in Music curricula is philosophically rooted in the Kodály Approach
and is based on early childhood research related to the development of:
- Music intelligence
- Singing skills
- Sensitivity to the beat and beat groups
- Expressive movement
- Musical memory
- Preferences
- Neurological connections
Through singing, instrumental exploration, and games, children are given an appetite for music and this would ignite a musical spark for a lifetime of learning and build up readiness for more formal music training.
Class structure:
- Infants (0-18 months old with one caregiver)
- Toddlers (1.5 - 2.5 yo with one caregiver)
- Nursery (2.5 - 3.5yo with one caregiver)
- Preschool (3.5-6yo on their own)

Time:
- 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm (Infants/ Toddlers)
- 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm (Nursery/ Preschool)
Fee: $250 (will be deducted if enrol the class after trial lesson)
