In the future era of Artificial Intelligence, “Eminence Measurement Index System (EMI)” is used by the government to arrange the right paths for her citizens. Eminence Primary School, the national experimental school, is using EMI to allocate students to two classes – Elite Blue or Regular Yellow by their abilities. Everyone is striving to improve their index, believing the system can bring happiness to them.
Edward just transferred to Eminence Primary School. Surprisingly, the EMI system is unable to judge his capability in the placement test. While everyone is in a quandary, Edward is asked to attend Regular Yellow temporarily. At the same time, distress signal from the system is discovered by students in Regular Yellow, which is related to a conspiracy of the government…
