This session is information based event which is designed for parents.

On 19 and 20 October, a Curriculum Consultant - Ms Jessy Tu - will introduce how Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong implement a topic-based Mandarin programme, including how it is structured and managed and how students will learn according to their past exposure and experience of Mandarin.

About Ms Jessy Tu

Jessy Tu is a Curriculum and Strategic consultant at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok. She is responsible for the implementation of the Mandarin teaching strategies for Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, Hong Kong and beyond. She has over 15 years of language teaching experience in both Mandarin and ESOL: as a teacher for several Australian Independent Secondary schools; close to 9 years of experience as a Curriculum Coordinator for NSW Saturday School of Community Languages (Dept. of Ed), managing 5 languages; and 6 years of teaching Mandarin in Hong Kong Independent Schools.
