- 1-on-1 Online Playgroup (ages 3-5) | 30 min | - Children of this age group are in the prime mental condition to absorb new languages, according to the critical period theory of language acquisition. We apply this principle to our playgroups, providing an environment where the language can be soaked up in a natural and fun way, enabling the student to:
- Learn to recognize patterns in Spanish sentences (introducing the basics of grammar)
- Learn to better control their mouths to form the sounds of the Spanish Alphabet, finding joy in the unique rhythms of the language
- Work with the teacher on fun and engaging onscreen activities, sharpening communication skills
Our approach is to impart Spanish in “waves,” adding new content while underpinning previous lessons, slowly but consistently. This program lays the foundation to progress to our Spanish For Kids program at age 6
- Online Spanish for Kids (age 6-7) - Our Spanish for Kids curriculum (SFK) has been designed for primary students: children aged 6 to 9. It is a perfect continuation of our Playgroup curriculum and a perfect base for later secondary school Spanish learning. We have designed this Spanish for children program as a bridge towards studying secondary school Spanish, and our objective is that children that have completed SFK are in a vantage position to start Spanish language at secondary level.All of our Spanish classes for children are in small class size.
