Innovation in Education-Where Is It Taking Our Children?

Innovation in Education-Where Is It Taking Our Children?

Stamford American School invites all interested parents, educators and those who are interested in education technology to attend a free panel discussion

STEAM has become a popular buzzword in Hong Kong in recent times, but what does it actually mean for our children’s education and for the future of the job market?

To help continue the discussion around innovation beyond the classrooms, Stamford American School have invited some of Hong Kong top innovators to join a lively panel discussion moderated by their head of STEMinn Linda Cheung followed by a Q&A session.

The innovation forum will cover topics such as:

  • How can parents help support their children in today’s technologically driven landscape?
  • What can you do as parents/educators/worker to help yourselves and your children stay current? What skills does coding and learning with a STEM (Stamford STEMinn) curriculum give your children?
  • Are there any negative effects you need to consider from this new style of education? If so what can you do about them?
  • What are some of the top things schools should be focusing on to help children succeed in tomorrow’s world?

Venue:   Admissions Office, Suites 4005-4007, 40/F, Two Exchange Square, 8 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong
