What’s your poison? Distressed Asset, a new play by Candice Moore (the founder of Sweet & Sour Productions Ltd), will soon go live on stage in April 2024.
Inspired by an infamous true crime case in Hong Kong – the Nancy Kissel Milkshake Murder in 2003 – Distressed Asset tells the story of Susan Goldsmith, who lives the expat dream as the wife of Spencer, a high-flying investment banker in Hong Kong, along with their two children and Filipina domestic helper. But after enduring 20 years of their toxic and abusive marriage, she conspires with her lover to murder Spencer.
