This December as we celebrate our 5th Anniversary, the AIA Carnival will be introducing a futuristic new look to the same traditional Carnival but with new attractions, games and activities! We are going “above and beyond” to light up the Central Harbourfront day and night with fun and entertainment.
The Great Circus of Europe returns, with a completely new and thrilling line up of the world’s most death-defying new acts. Once again, they will leave you in awe at the mesmerising feats of skills, human strength and ingenuity.
Games
Test your skills at this year’s exciting game booths and challenge yourselves to win the toys. Check out what we offer this year that will get you standing on your tip toes!
- Bells: To win this game, use the balls provided to knock the bells completely off the table.
- Bowling: Roll the balls and knock over the pins to win.
- Can Blaster: Use the Air Cannon to knock off as many cans off the shelf as you can.
- Can Smash: Throw sacks to knock all the cans off the shelf to win the prize.
- Catch A Fish: Use the magnetic fishing pole to catch fishes. Add the points to see if you won a prize.
- Double Churns: Toss the balls into the churn. It's not as easy as it looks.
- Globets : Challenge yourself to land the balls into the coloured glasses.
- Hoop the Block: Throw Hoops over the block and onto the floor to win a prize.
- Hot Shots: With the balls provided, score as many times as you can to win. The more you score, the bigger the price.
- Knock Down: Knock down as many clowns as you can.
- Lobster Pot: Your aim is to toss and get the balls to stay inside the Lobster Pot.
- Mini Hoop the Block: Throw hoops over the block and onto the floor to win.
- Ping Pong Roll Down: Roll the balls into the numbered slots and add up your total scores to see if you have won.
- Shoot the Stack: Shoot the corks at the pyramid stack and make sure it is off the shelf!
- Rebound: Rebound the ball off the board and into the box to win.
- Ring Toss: Throw and land the ring to stay on top of the bottle cap to win.
- Roll A Ball: Roll the balls to the numbered holes and add up your total score.
- Sling Shot: Use the slingshot to knock the blocks off the table.
- Spill the Milk: Knock all the milk bottle off the table with the sacks provided.
- Spots: Land the token within a coloured spot on the table to win.
- Wiggle Wires: Hold the loop in one hand and attempt to guide it along the curved wire without touching it. The alarm will sound if the wire is touched!
- Basketball Extreme: Score a basket to win yourself a prize. The more you score, the bigger the prizes

How to get there?
Bus
Depending on the bus route, you can alight in Central, Admiralty or the Outlying Ferry Piers and walk to the site.
MTR
Access the site from Central (exit A) or HK Station (exit A2). Approximately 10 minutes walking distance.
From Admiralty Station head towards Tamar Park, walk through the park towards the Waterfront Promenade and turn left. Approximately 10 minutes walking distance.
Ferry
Take the Star Ferry to Central and walk towards the left after disembarking. Approximately 1 minute walking distance.
Taxi
Alight at the Star Ferry taxi drop off and walk straight ahead. Approximately 2 to 4 minutes walking distance.
Private Car
There is no parking at Central Harbourfront Event Space. The closest public carparks are located at City Hall, IFC and Pacific Place.
