Fireworks Display to Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

 

Join the huge crowds heading to Victoria Harbour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with a glittering fireworks display.

Fireworks displays in Hong Kong are truly stunning and if you happen to be in the city on July 1st, certainly a spectacle you should not miss!

Word has it, this is set to be the most expensive fireworks event since 1997 with a projected cost of HK$ 12 million (just over US$ 1.5 million). It will feature a "Super Fireworks Wall" along Victoria Harbour, measuring 1,250 meters long and 300 meters high and will be accompanied by the usual multimedia array of lights, music and LED screens.
