Participants will have the opportunity to have hands-on experiences of the sensory challenges often encountered by people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder that are sometimes shared by people with other diagnoses such as ADHD and Sensory Processing Disorders.
At the end of the evening you can expect to have:
- a better grasp of what children may be going through and why they may engage in certain behaviours at school and on community field trips
- be in a better position to answer your children’s questions regarding the class dynamic
- feel more empathy towards individuals with a Nueurodivergence
Empathy is “the ability to share and understand others feelings” but it is also a beautiful way to expand the own private universe as well as the children’s.
