This computer science course is designed for upper primary students to introduce them to the fundamental concepts of computer science and programming. Students will learn about basic coding concepts such as algorithms and data structures, as well as how to use programming languages such as Scratch or Python to create interactive programs and games. They will also learn about problem-solving and how to think logically and systematically to solve problems.
The course will include hands-on coding projects that will provide students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills. They will also learn about the social and ethical implications of technology, such as online safety and privacy, and gain an understanding of the impact of technology on society.
By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in computer science and be able to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. They will be able to create interactive programs and games and will be excited to continue exploring the field of computer science.
