Educational and fruitful Summer programmes that enrich children’s learning and development in diversified areas.

Fun with English

Children learn songs, rhymes, story telling, art and painting in an English speaking environment. To improve effectiveness of the class, children may be reassigned to classes of different age groups depending on their English proficiency. Each class is limited to 15 children.

Project Fun for Whole Day Children

Last year the English project summer program was a success. Parents loved the idea of having a fun whole day project class for the children. This summer the school is offering whole day project classes and children who are currently attending whole day school will be given the priority to register into this program. (For UN, LK & UK students only)

Fun with Chinese Writing

This course is to help Upper Nursery/ Lower Kindergarten student with their Chinese penmanship in their transition to the LK class. Children will be introduced to pencil control and writing basic Chinese characters. For student promoting to UK, they will introduce sentence formation and journal writing skills. (For Think students only)

Fun with Creative Arts

Children are free to create in the world of colours. Pencils, crayons, brushes, water paints, etc. are used to present the different forms of colours for the children to create. Techniques such as cutting, sticking and folding, in addition to drawing and painting, are used to enhance the eyes and hands coordination of the child.

Fun with Music

Interesting music activities can stimulate physical development of children, foster their sense of musical awareness. At Think, they focus on pitch, basic knowledge of rhythm and music including singing, music appreciation, basic music theory, listening, Kodaly hand signs, and percussion instruments games. Children with satisfactory attendance and performance (assessed by Mr. Jim) will be nominated to join Hong Kong School’s Music Festival.

Fun with Gymnastics

This gymnastic program, which is offered throughout the year, helps to tone up the muscles of the children and make them healthier, fitter and happier through a series of planned physical activities. Gymnastics activities can strengthen children’s motor skills, hand-eye coordination, physical ability as well as foster their self-confidence and self-discipline.

Fun with Ballet

This class is designed for children who are interested in ballet and musical movements. The curriculum follows that of the Royal Academy of dancing in United Kingdom. As the children progress through the course, they will be nominated to take the examinations at the Royal Academy of Dancing.

Fun with K-Pop and Jazz Dancing

New fun way to promote physical fitness, improve mind and body coordination to kids, through Korean popular music. Children will be introduced to basic steps and techniques in Jazz. The curriculum follows that of the A.T.O.D.

Fun with Science Explorarion

Their science courses are aimed to broaden horizons and stimulate “science in your life” awareness of the students. Inquiry based learning facilitate curiosity and further exploration. They use simple vocabulary and engage young students with a variety of hands-on experiments. These are designed to be completed easily for kids but still with a sense of accomplishment. Theme: Optrix Play with the world of color and light. Bend light to see all rainbow colors. Create new color with cellophane. Take a look at animal eyes to see how they compare to yours. Tickle your vision with “Kool Aid” chromatography.
