The Volvo Ocean Race and Festival are coming to Hong Kong for the first time ever! Join for fifteen days of non-stop action!

HK STOPOVER 17-31 JANUARY 2018

Since 1973, winning the Volvo Ocean Race has been an obsession for the world's best sailors. The eight month around-the-world sailing race is considered one of the toughest sport competitions in the world and is visiting Hong Kong for a 15 day Race Festival in January 2018 at Kai Tak Runway Park!!

The race is divided into sections or ‘legs’, stopping at twelve cities during the course of the race and for the first time in the event’s history, the boats will visit Hong Kong. A Victoria Harbour (or in-port) race and a race around Hong Kong island will take place along with a World Race Festival during the boat’s visit.

For fifteen action packed days, Kai Tak Runway Park will be transformed into an entertainment hub with sailing races, live music, DJ’s, performers, virtual reality, 3-D cinema experience, interactive games, competitions, food, bars, lion dancers, photo booths, free give-aways and more!

Food, good restaurants and cafes and many fun awaits!

Test drive the latest Volvo in the exhilarating test track, explore the many interactive experiences in the Volvo Pavilion and let the kids have a go on the Volvo kids’ cars and trucks!

You may take part in Photo Competition. Winning photo will be announced each day and being showcased on big screen at the race village.
