Animation is no less powerful than live-action films, and kids' tales can warm the heart of people of all ages.
To celebrate the power of animation for young audience, the next Ciné-club will bring to you two French animated short films, both awardee of Jury Prize in the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Led by two little young girls - our heroines, full of the innocence and naivety characteristic of childhood and adolescence, we travel into the enchanting countryside of Normandy and the palatial maze of Versailles. But the real journey for them is one that is inevitable in everyone's coming-of-age: trying to understand the hardness of human life. Through poetic imagery and a story-telling filled with tenderness and sensitivity, these tales of kid power will pull at our heartstings.
