This october is all about football philosophy – learn to think like a footballer!

Our qualified, experienced APSS coaches will cover a different theme on each of the 4 days. We’ll try to get players to think about their football – improving decisions and confidence! Each day will finish with small sided games, where the players can try what they have learned.

Day 1: Determination, attitude and speed of play

The first session will introduce hard work, tempo and communication. Working on being confident, alert and self assured in small sided competitive games. How to accept defeat and be humble when winning. We will teach the students the foundations of what is takes to be part of a team.

Day 2: Decision making

The best players make the best decisions! We will look at basic principles of attacking, defending, passing, shooting, dribbling or turning – when and where to do them! We will encourage players to take in more information and be more aware of the field around them.

Day 3: Control

How to control the ball, control possession, control the opposition and control your place in a team environment. We will educate players about approaching training and matches. How can they get the most out of their time on the pitch. Having fun with their friends while learning new skills and techniques.

Day 4: Match day

We look at preparation for match days! From the moment you wake up, to the hand shakes after the game. How to make sure you are ready for the match and make decisions that could help the outcome of the day.

Special Goalkeeper Camp (Stanley Ho only)

Our goalie coaches will run sessions every day, where the players get 2 hours of goalkeeper drills, before playing in games with their team-mates for the final part of each day’s camp.

Our camps are open to all players 5-12 years old, from beginners to squad players, boys & girls (players will be split into groups each day depending on age & ability).

Players do not need to come every day! Join as many/few days as they like.
