I help children read in a way that is both age-appropriate and backed by the SCIENCE OF READING. No more boring phonics lessons or uninteresting reading!

I was trained in teaching English primarily to young children in the early years (nursery to primary). My research at the University of York was on children’s reading and spelling. This training, in addition to my extensive experience in early years settings in Hong Kong and delivering teacher training internationally, has shaped my expertise and practice.

Reading for me is a fundamental right of every child. It is a moral imperative and only ethical to deliver reading lessons informed by reading science and child development.
