Cedar Academy aims to provide educational experience of infinite possibilities for children – one where they can learn with passion and joy, excel intellectually and morally, form meaningful relationships with one another, and grow in fortitude, integrity and purpose. We created the Cedar Holistic Education Curriculum (CHEC), a comprehensive research-based learning framework that draws on our own educational experiences inside and outside the classroom in Hong Kong, the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as various established learning methods. The CHEC is specifically developed with young children in mind, and integrates the humanities, STEM, performing arts, and character development fields.
Cedar Institute for Performing Arts, a member of Cedar Academy, offers regular music instrumental classes, training, supervised practice, chamber music, performance and masterclass opportunities for various instruments, including violin, viola, cello and piano. We are committed to nurturing musicianship, inspiring musicality, cultivating musical knowledge and training performance skills, fostering positive character in future generations of artistic talent from beginners to emerging artists - through our proprietary holistic curriculum and by offering high quality learning resources and exceptional opportunities.
