Delight in Mozart’s midnight masterpiece – Don Giovanni Overture - followed by his melodious Sinfonia Concertante which makes a splendid showcase for the HK Phil’s principals.
Austrian composer Hans Rott was praised as “a musician of genius” by his classmate Mahler. Some scholars suggest that Mahler "borrowed" musical ideas from Rott, and you might hear elements that resemble Mahler's symphonies in Rott’s Symphony.
