Widely regarded as one of this generation’s leading interpreters of Beethoven’s works, French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet has enjoyed a prolific career performing with renowned orchestras including the London Philharmonic, BBC Symphony and Cleveland orchestras. This French May, the maestro will join Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Music Director Christoph Poppen and showcase his authoritative interpretation of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 2, in a programme which also features Brahms’s enchanting Fourth Symphony and Matthias Pintscher’s Ex Nihilo for chamber orchestra.
