WWF Primary School Education Programme Hoi Ha Wan


WWF organizes fun and engaging educational activities for primary school students at Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park and Hoi Ha Marine Life Centre.

 

Students will explore the wonders of ocean and to learn about marine ecology, to enable them to establish the connection between human and nature and learn how to live sustainably.

There are TWO programme options for primary school students at Hoi Ha Wan:

SHARK ADVENTURE (for P.1 – P.3) 

Learn about interesting features of sharks and the threats towards sharks throughout their growth by mimicking a pup. 
Activity format:
• Role Play
• Drama in education
• Coral observation on Glass-bottomed Boat

HOI HA DETECTIVE (for P.3 – P.6)

Explore the beach with different senses; discover the characteristics of different marine life and their relationship with humans.
Activity format:
• Beach exploration
• Marine organism observation
• Sensory activities
• Coral observation on Glass-bottomed Boat

Details

  • Target: Students of Primary 1-6
  • Suggested group size: 20 - 40 persons per booking (including 2-4 accompanying teachers)
  • Activity day: Weekdays, except public holidays (1 September 2017 – 31 August 2018)
  • Duration: 3 hours; Morning Session: 0930-1230; Afternoon Session: 1330-1630
  • Quota: Maximum 2 bookings will be accepted in the same time slot
  • Fee: HK$120 per student or teacher (full payment made on or before 30 September 2017)
